I don't generally have unfinished WIPs sitting on my hardrive (*pushes 15k ricstar amnesia fic out of line of sight*), so I determined to finish this failed-fanworks-zine story someday soon! I'm sure I have a bingo card somewhere I can squeeze this bad boy onto. Also, eight sentences.
They have a routine now, which Julio finds a little mind-boggling. He'd been pretty sure Star was going to last a week or two, max, before the general lack of television and all the time spent on the road got to him, but he's been surprisingly good. They've just had another knock down dirty fight with a pocket of his gigantic family – just a few of his second cousins, exiled to buttfuck nowhere to guard a cache with nothing but guns to defend them – and they're both tired and hungry and in desperate need of a bath.
Star's eyes are closed, his arms crossed over his chest. Not asleep, Julio knows that now, but meditative. Julio's better at flipping the switch on and off, shifting from Rictor to Julio with ease, but Star's getting there. Where Shatterstar started and where he is now is miles apart. That's also a little mind-boggling.
