So during the

snowflake_challenge, I was hunting down the inset to The Devil in Winter, because I wanted some Evie/Sebastian lusty swooning as an icon. It was then that I discovered the greatest thing ever in the world: Wallflower Series manga. Eeeeeeeeee. Two of my favourite things, together! So I ordered it off Yesasia.com and patiently waited ever so long (no, not really -- shipped days before the estimate from Hong Kong, then got to me in six business days in Canada).

I just want to lie in bed with these books and roll around in glee. And magically learn Japanese, so I know what they're saying, but mostly, roll around in glee. I love that these manga exist, that the Internet let me order them from across the globe and that they're mine to love forever.

So there's this book series by Lisa Kleypas, a romance author, called the Wallflower Series. I've mentioned it a few times. At its heart, it's the story of four women who don't quite fit in, and become the dearest of friends. Annabelle, Lillian, Evangeline, and Daisy. I love them all, but in particular, I love Evie. Like, so much love that I probably read The Devil in Winter once every two to three months, and have for at least five years. It never gets old.

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.
