Some things I particularly love: happy endings, gratuitous nudity, shippy stuff, sexy stuff, first times, pining, gazing, bathing, casual swearing, long hair, friendship romps, tropes, true love.
Tropes I love (in no particular order): snowed in, locked in, huddle for warmth, fake relationships, friends to lovers, first times, coming of age, fuck or die (provided other partner is 100% willing to help out and nobody regrets anything), love serum/potion (ditto), handcuffed together, pining (with eventual payoff), truth or dare, hurt/comfort, fix its, bodyswap, fake dating, sharing a bed -- tbh, basically all of them, not gonna lie.
I do prefer canon-stories more than AUs, but it's not a strong preference, and I don't have any AU settings I don't like. I do prefer third person a little more strongly, present or past. Any rating is fine, up to and including explicit. Plot or PWP or somewhere in between -- all good! Any length is also good!

kerithwyn, and I definitely talked to more people this year than last year. Vid show was great. Panels were great. Weather was great. Food was great. Other than the fact I had to sprint through Pearson to make my connection with strep throat, flights were great. I love Escapade so much. It's worth flying across the continent for.

Thanks, random strangers. I nommed for smutswap, but ended up not signing up for it... I had a lot of fun last year with it, but I'm also trying to be careful to manage my writing time a bit better.

Loving tropes as I do, I was unable to resist the siren song of the trope meme. Also, I just generally love taking quizzes. Clearly, some tropes missing, but this is a pretty accurate list for me, tbh.
