I updated both my Dreamwidth profile and my Dreamwidth sticky to match my more up-to-date AO3 profile. Mostly, I needed it in writing that I'm totes obsessed with the anime Run with the Wind right now.



Somewhat related, I'm going to be doing Snowflake Challenge this year to get back in the habit of posting. I have been very good at reading on Dreamwidth, mediocre at leaving comments on Dreamwidth and terrible at posting on Dreamwidth. I'll be posting a couple update posts in the next few days!

That was me with Wotakoi: I'm not usually one for romance series, but it was a really cute slice-of-life following a group of full on adults (the "kids" in the main cast were 19yr old college brother and friends), and it was just so refreshing to have an all adult cast with relatable issues. Of course, there are some heteronormative cultural aspects to the romance bits that were lacking imo, but it was only 11 eps with 3 OVA's, so it's a very quick watch and loaded with otaku easter eggs.

That sounds up my alley, so I will check it out. As much as I love 100+ episode shounen series, sometimes I just need something sort haha.

I did watch the first ep of Run with the Wind last night btw, so will continue on tonight. xD I have to say sports anime have become very cathartic for me post-injury, and one about running? I miss finding the zone and pounding pavement (maybe not so much right now with the winter freeze, but for sure when it's hot outside). Anyway, I expect this to hit me in a few ways as the story goes on.
