Non-canon AUs aren't usually my jam, but I enjoyed this a lot. I really like how you were able to get across the pirate-ness of it all - and mesh it with the X-Universe - with a relative economy of (well-written) words and clear characterization. Nice job!

Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it! I don't normally write AUs -- I clearly get carried away with the research, haha -- but this one really captured me, and I spent a fair amount of time daydreaming how I could mix historical accuracy with X-Men lore (also Shatterstar with an eye-patch). I am glad it worked!
