Thanks to my usual pre-yuletide shenanigans, instead of writing the story (3500 words so far), I'm screwing around with things I've procrastinated on! I finally set up my dreamwidth journal, imported all my entries from lj, stole settiai's crosspost blurb with permission, and wrote this entry!

Unrelated, I saw Pitch Perfect today, months after everyone else. I think I shipped the entire cast of characters. There better be fic for it in yuletide or I will be the saddest ever. This sad, in fact: (((((((((((((. (<-- Hockey RPF joke).

I was waxing poetic to pebblin about the new Uncanny X-Force team. Psylocke, Storm, Eva, Spiral, and, um, Puck (yeah, I don't know either, just roll with it, guys). The more I think about it, the more excited I get. And Storm has her mohawk back. :3

I'm even more excited to see it now. I don't have a movie like that to rewatch when I need something cheery. Most of the stuff I own/rewatch is of the intellectual or violent variety.

Insurance is really neat. The two most common jobs are in underwriting or claims. The first is back-of-house research-type stuff, and the second is more customer-service focused but still requires knowing a lot about stuff that could go wrong to be able to settle with people and detect fraud.

I'm not really sure which area I'm more interested in. I'm hoping to have a co-op in the summer and figure that out.
