So a series of events (eyes settiai) led me to 1) buying Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: The Complete Series and 2) going on a Dr. Quinn bender. In one weekend, I've managed all of season one and a chunk of season two, and yes. It remains my favourite show ever. And Hank remains my favourite tv character ever, even though I think he might be more of an asshole than I remember. I'm pretty much watching him like this -.- for most of the time, until he stands up for his illegitimate son or says Michaela or whatever. There is good in him, dammit.

So yes, that's one yuletide nomination out of the way. I'm lost on the other two. Repeats from last year are unlikely -- Incorruptible ended on a surprising high note that pretty much gave me the happy ending I wanted, and Tiger & Bunny is too big to be considered this year. Too bad I don't think Wolverine and the X-Men could make it in. I am desperate to read some Angel/Apocalypse BFF fic, because Warren knows exactly what Evan probably is, but lied to him so he wouldn't feel bad about himself, and ensured Evan he was good.

I've run out of Sky High fic (the character from Tiger & Bunny, not the movie) on AO3. Which is tragical. This is possibly the most fic I've read in the last year -- there is hope! The fannishness is not completely dead in me yet!

Current story on the go is amnesia fic, because the lack of cliche fic in the ricstar fandom disturbs me. It's going okay.
