yuletide gods have smiled on me yet again. I am so frigging excited by the prompt. Maybe this will convince me I don't actually have to re-familiarise myself with my own requests, because hey, I know those because I, you know, LOVE THEM, which is why I requested them in the first place. (This, btw, is why I own, like, 40 books I've never read). And revisit constantly, because they are great! So many things to love in this world as a fan, it's excellent.
I went on a Daken bender this past weekend. I had bought a trade of Daken: Dark Wolverine, and he was kinda ... charming, in a psychopathic way. So I bought 7 other trades, including the complete run of Dark Avengers, a crapload of Wolverine, and Old Man Logan, which actually has nothing to do with Daken, but had sounded good from reviews. Of course, Daken goes and gets himself cancelled, because Marvel is cancelling everything, but eh.
Speaking of psychopaths, to all the comics peeps on my flist: if you're not reading Uncanny X-Force, you're missing out on some of the best storytelling I've seen in a long time. I can't even be mad that my beloved is now evil incarnate, because it's been written so well. (I don't think that's a spoiler, because this has been going on for, like, a year now).
Also, I think I have now seen Streetdance thirty times. Every time it's on the Movie Network, I must watch it. I have a compulsion. :3
