Sep. 19th, 2011 09:26 pmIt's been ten months since I accidentally pulled off the J key on my laptop (aka, my primary writing device). Thankfully, hitting the open space it left behind works, but my left middle finger is a little raw because Shatterstar is all Julio Julio Julio x a billion. And yes, I confess it, I don't believe in homerow typing. I've always been more of a slapper ... the keys get hit, and the story gets out. I accidentally wrote until 2:30 am last night. Those five pages are almost incoherent.
I'm currently investigating Tiger & Bunny. I will report back.
I've been looking for a place to read about comics, that is a kinda discussion-forumy. CBR kinda made me want to pull my face off. How can people hate Uncanny X-Force, X-Factor *and* Psylocke, all at once? Possibly the most negative number of posters I've seen in my life. /r/comicbooks on Reddit will have to tide me over in the meanwhile, because they're weirdly positive and totally into neato things (like excellent cosplay and the greatness of Uncanny X-Force).
Gaming IRL tomorrow night. No Descent: The Road to Legend this week, because one of the players is out of town. Has anybody else played this? We're probably going to lose horribly. (For non-gamers, imagine Dungeons and Dragons, but as a board game, and with an evil Overlord). I play Shiver, who I think is a gender ambiguous elven necromancer. It's really fun, even though we've been playing since February, and did I mention we're probably to lose horribly?
