What I Just Finished Reading: I read Age Of X-Man: X-Tremists #4 this morning. So basically, if you haven't been following the story, Nate Grey created a "mutant utopia" which, as one might expect, is quite dystopic. Nobody remembers who they used to be. There are no relationships of any kind. Issue #4 is Northstar's issue, who knows he's missing something big in his life and can't quite remember who he keeps reaching for (aka, his husband Kyle). I feel emotionally punched in the gut.

And then... Rictor also finally shows up in this -- we all knew he was here somewhere, since Shatterstar back on the real Earth-616 is grieving pretty deeply for the boyfriend and best friend he thinks is dead -- and is running a movie theatre (his subconscious remembers his movie-loving boyfriend, weep) and is, unsurprisingly, Not Following The Rules. Iceman is also a big part of the story, and the three of them... have some really meaningful moments together.

Also, Jubilee is amazing, and I love her, the end.

All in all, a really good issue. I liked it a lot. That cover is amazing, too. Just gorgeous.

What I'm Reading Now: Any Old Diamonds by KJ Charles.

What I'm Reading Next: Still Loki: Agent of Asgard vols. 1 to 3 and Fruits Basket vols 18 to 23. Oh, and I seriously need to finish editing the AU.
