Wednesday Reading Meme

tangerinerWhat I Just Finished Reading: I did finish both the Lives of Homosexual Men, 1885-1967 by Kevin Porter and Jeffrey Weeks (a series of interviews with gay men, who lived their lives during the time period where homosexuality was illegal in Britain -- very interesting, but JEEPERS was that print small) and The Magpie Lord by KJ Charles (I promptly got the next two out of the library). I also read Spectred Isle by KJ Charles (also very good!).
What I'm Reading Now: Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition by B. R. Burg. This book looks extremely academic, and I need to have it returned to the library by Friday, so I may just skim it. I went through the hassle of ILLing it, so I might as well read it. So far I have read the introduction.
What I'm Reading Next: I'm on vacation, so I am determined to read at least a couple books. First and foremost, Villains of All Nations: Atlantic Pirates in the Golden Age by Marcus Rediker. For two reasons: 1) last bit of research for pirate AU and 2) I have renewed this thing ten times, and I'm ashamed of myself as a librarian.
