Stop me if you've heard this before, but Shatterstar! Is in Cable 158! Due to all the time travel stuff, it's probably just X-Force-era-Shatterstar again, because Cable loves that kid, but hey! nice to see him!

Meanwhile, in X-Men Gold 30, Marvel pulls off the most impressive bait and switch I've ever seen. NO ONE expected who is actually getting married. CUZ IT AIN'T COLOSSUS AND KITTY. (Thank god -- Kitty, you can do way better than that). And who is getting married? The exact ones who should. NO NOT RIC AND STAR I WISH. The other two who should. ROGUE AND GAMBIT HOLY SHIT IT'S HAPPENING.

Ahem.

In other news, I finished Sens8. Really nice ending. It made me happy.

Marvel Bang is ... doing something in my head. I really have to figure out the timeline, but that means reading X-Force AGAIN because my ability to remember anything is shot. What a hardship, I know.

I did finish my raremaleslashex story, and I'm VERY pleased with it. Like, I did something I find really hard, and I think it was successful? I hope so anyway. It turns out it's not due until the end of July, but I guess I have become that person who finishes things early.

Hmmm.

And then, finally, fandom5k went live! And I got a Rictor/Shatterstar story! Set immediately post X-Force 43 aka That Pivotal Turning Point In Their Relationship. Iloveitsomuch.

SORRY FOR THE FALSE ALARM :D! I have never been this person before. I legit finished my fandom5k a month in advance. It's mind-boggling.

And ty! I just love story exchanges so much. So much fun!

I did a pinch hit for fandom5k and actually wrote 10k then realized the full story would be too long, started something new, and wrote another 8k in the two weeks before reveals. I'm a really terrible person. orz (To be fair, reality exploded in my face. See: work + funeral + estate handling, ugh.)

Story exchanges are great. They make you step outside your box (at least a little) and then you get presents. ♥

I bemoan all the years I had no idea story exchanges existed outside of Yuletide. I mean, I wasn't really looking, per se, but still! so much fun!
