Dec. 6th, 2017 08:02 pmI think I finally figured out chapter 6 of my WIP (which I have quickly discovered I am really not made for in my old age and will switch back to one-shots), which is good. It's a Serious Chapter in an otherwise light-headed (ish ... for me anyway) story, so it took a while. It took so long I skipped to chapter 7.
As I poke around other people's Yuletide letters, I feel like I need to make an apology for the worst Yuletide letter I've ever written. I legit gave my author nothing. ::sigh:: Sorry, author.
I've discovered (lies, this was knowledge I already possessed) that I am way better at buying myself gifts than I am at buying anything for anybody else. Unfortunately, Canada Post appears to have lost its ability to deliver timely mail, so my packages are all trapped in various locations.
Watching: Riverdale (TV). I liked the first season, but the second second definitely has me going "are you fucking kidding me" more often than not. As I have an extremely low bar for everything and I do not possess a critical bone in my body, this alarms me.
Reading: Call Me By Your Name (Book). It's good, but I can't read too much in one sitting because it requires my brain. Possibly the first non-historical-romance book I've read in years.
Reading: Boku no Hero Academia (Manga). Inspired by BlitheFool's Friends with Benefits, I decided to start reading the BNHA manga. It is great. I'm too impatient to wait for the anime.
The Ottawa Senators are terrible and may never win again.
