I honestly didn't think I could do it -- I got the majority of my popslash added to AO3. It took me five hours to add The Book of Secrets alone. There a few stories I didn't add -- two because they were co-written with other people, one because it has Nick Carter, one because (in my head) it's the story that started me on the path of pulling away from that fandom. I'm also missing one series, which I will add someday, but I need to be in the right headspace to re-read it before posting.

Ignoring the stories I didn't add, I wrote 854,020+ words in popslash and 76+ stories. When that fandom was good to me, it was really really good. BoS alone clocked in at 143,732 words. Amazing. I had no idea.

HOLY CRAP. Did I love this movie. Terrifying as fuck. Great characters. The ending was just spectacular. The acting! The use of sound! And also so brutal omg. I'm actually a) hoping for a sequel and b) gonna keep an eye on AO3 for any fic that might pop up.

Got my assignment for [community profile] fandom5k. Okay, self, you can do this. My request went out for a pinch hit, because I couldn't be matched, but it's been claimed. Me and my tiny fandoms/OTPs.

That was pretty much my reaction to my fandom5k assignment. In a pep talk sort of way. Because my first thought was, "I'm going to need so much help with this fic." Luckily though I'm pretty sure help will be easy to come by.

Yeah, I'm like, shocked that I can think of at least three people off the top of my head I could ask to help with this thing, and that's people I'm relatively closely acquainted with. Even when I was writing a ton I never wrote in fandoms where I could get that kind of help - though I was also a lot more socially anxious about it.

I probably don't know your fandom (and I have no idea if you know mine; it's possible?) but if you ever wanna talk about your story while staying anon my email is battlesinthemorning@gmail.com. :) (No expectations, just like... offering.)
