Dear Author (Yuletide)
Hello! Thanks so much for writing something for me! I'm very excited! I am also extremely easygoing and easy-to-please, so no worries. :)
Some things I particularly love: happy endings, gratuitous nudity, shippy stuff, sexy stuff, first times, pining, gazing, casual swearing, long hair, friendship romps, tropes, true love.
If you need ideas for tropes: snowed in, locked in, huddle for warmth, fake relationships, friends to lovers, first times, coming of age, fuck or die (provided other partner is 100% willing to help out), love serum/potion (ditto), handcuffed together, pining (with eventual payoff), truth or dare, hurt/comfort, fix its, bodyswap.
I do prefer canon-stories more than AUs, but it's not a strong preference, and I don't have any AU settings I don't like. I do prefer third person a little more strongly, present or past. Any rating is fine, up to and including explicit.
DNWs: non-con/dub-con, A/B/O, gender/sexswap, darkfic, deathfic, unhappy endings, underage, mpreg, incest, power imbalances between the characters.
Here are some plot bunnies/suggestions, should you need them, but again, I'm pretty easygoing. I'm also pretty relaxed about canon, especially when it comes to comics, so feel to ignore things you do not like or want to write or want to think about.
X-Factor (Comics) - Julio Richter, Shatterstar
Don't feel obligated to stick to X-Factor time-frame, if X-Force, Mexico or any post-X-Factor shenanigans are where your bunnies lead you. I just, with these guys, need them to end the story together, in love, even if they don't start that way. I think they lend themselves well to tropey tropes, so if you've ever wanted to write a trope-centric story with them, I would like it. Or something mega fluffy, quiet cuddles and whispers on a couch somewhere. Or hurt/comfort because hey, they live rough lives, and Star has that handy healing factor. Not the hugest fan of moustaches, but... I could be convinced. I like that they grew them together, for some strange reason only they will ever know.
From Eroica with Love - Dorian, Klaus
I would like to see them get together. Mission fic, tropey, finally admitting to the attraction first time fic, anything you like that brings them to that point. But also totally okay with established relationship fic, because I'd be interested to see how Klaus fits into a dynamic like that. 100% okay with them being Men of Their Time, if that makes sense. I love all the Alphabets and most of Dorian's people, but I would prefer if James is used in limited quantities.
Draft Day (2014) - Vontae Mack, Ray Jennings
For some reason, of all the movies on the planet, this is the one I watch monthly. Maybe not the whole thing each time, but definitely that part where Vontae gets drafted (FEELINGS SO MANY FEELINGS). If you're up for it, Vontae Mack/Ray Jennings is a thing I Think About, but gen friendship fic would be fine, or a character study or day in the life of Vontae (you can leave Ray completely out, if you prefer). How does their first year go? Or the time leading up to training camp? Do they become friends in the off season? Just a small note: I know almost nothing about football, and I definitely don't know the finer points of the rules, so I will believe anything you tell me without question. Even the Browns winning the Superbowl.
Wallflower Series - Sebastian, Evie
I can't even imagine what a tropey story would look like for these two, but it'd be awesome? Or some established relationship fic. Or smut. Or more about their family. Or they have an adventure. Evie is basically the character of my heart (it's so rare to find an adult female stutterer, in real life or media, and as a stutterer myself, it's basically why I first fell in love -- lucky for me, she also turned out to be AMAZING, I LOVE HER SO MUCH). So if you don't want to write both, Evie is my #1 forever and ever. Friendship fic with the other Wallflowers would be totally fine, too. I love them all!
